Chris helps healthcare professionals protect their livelihoods and reputations against lawsuits. Having defended over 100 medical malpractice and Section 1983 cases in the past decade, Chris represents doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, correctional healthcare providers, and their practice groups.
Based in Richmond, Chris is typically asked to defend Virginia cases in both state and federal court from the start. But when his specialized background can help, he joins later stages of litigation throughout country. He has represented clients in Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington State. Whatever the scenario, Chris builds a common vision with his clients and helps execute those goals through total advocacy.
In 2025, Chris was admitted to the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization of experienced trial lawyers, where he sits on the board of the Virginia Chapter. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and Legal Elite.
